Business Law governs economic activities through legal frameworks. This field assists clients with: establishing business structures, drafting agreements, complying with laws, securing funding, and various other legal matters. Specialized knowledge is essential in corporate governance, contractual agreements, investment regulations, trade laws, asset management, and insolvency proceedings. To complete the Business Law specialization, students need to earn at least 16 credits from designated core and elective classes. A minimum GPA of 2.33 must be maintained in all graded courses counting toward the requirements. Required courses taken for credit cannot be completed on a pass/fail basis. Applicants for admission must have an earned bachelor’s degree from an institution accredited by an agency recognized by the Department of Education. Foreign educated applicants must possess a degree equivalent to a U.S. baccalaureate.
Take the Law School Admissions Test (LSAT) or Graduate Record Examination (GRE)
The recommended minimum score for the TOEFL is 100 on the internet-based test (TOEFL-iBt). The recommended minimum score for the IELTS is 7.0.
