The Health Systems and Design Certificate is offered through the Center for Health Systems and Design within the Architecture Department. The Center aims to enhance design quality by fostering interdisciplinary education, research, and community engagement focused on how design influences health outcomes. Its objective is to advance a robust, multidisciplinary approach to research and instruction in health-focused design. This certificate enables graduate students to deepen their expertise in planning and managing healthcare facilities, as well as spaces that promote wellness, equipping them for careers requiring specialized understanding of design's role in health.
Available to all Texas A&M University graduate students, the Health Systems and Design Certificate allows individuals to build expertise in health-oriented design to support their professional aspirations. While encouraging interdisciplinary viewpoints, the program ensures students gain comprehensive mastery of specific health design principles.
