The Sustainable and Resilient Natural and Built Environments track focuses on enhancing the durability of our surroundings amidst extreme weather, climate shifts, and urban growth.

Sustainability involves utilizing resources responsibly to prevent exhaustion or irreversible harm. Essentially, it's about fulfilling current requirements while safeguarding resources for future generations. Resilience describes a system's capacity to bounce back from disasters such as wildfires, floods, and storms, as well as gradual changes like droughts and sea level rise.

Participants in this program will study sustainability and resilience principles through civil and environmental engineering courses, along with other subjects tailored to their academic backgrounds and personal interests.
