The Safety Engineering Certificate equips graduates for careers across various safety engineering fields. To obtain this certificate, students need to finish 15 semester credit hours of designated coursework. Before certification, the Safety Program coordinator evaluates each student's completed courses.
Prior to enrolling in any certificate courses, students must fill out and submit an application to the Mary Kay O'Connor Process Safety Center (located in the 246 Jack E. Brown Engineering Building).
