The Department of Sociology and Bush School of Government and Public Service provide an accelerated 5-year (3+2) dual degree program. Sociology students can begin their Bush School studies during what would normally be their fourth undergraduate year at Texas A&M. This pathway lets participants earn both a BA in Sociology and an MPSA graduate degree within five years.
Eligibility for this combined program requires Sociology majors to maintain at least a 3.25 GPA and complete 102 credit hours toward their 120-hour bachelor's requirements. Students must fulfill all Sociology BA prerequisites, along with Texas A&M's general education and College of Liberal Arts mandates. Those interested should consult with an academic advisor for program details.
