The Ocean Studies Bachelor of Arts program offers students a multidisciplinary perspective on marine environments. Covering more than 70% of our planet's surface, oceans play a vital role in human society through shipping routes, weather patterns, disaster risks, and as a crucial food source for numerous regions globally. Learners will merge their marine science education with a university-recognized minor to strengthen their competencies in key sectors of the growing Blue Economy.

This Ocean Studies BA program is designed to: 1) equip students with comprehensive knowledge about marine systems, 2) develop communication abilities to effectively discuss challenges and remedies concerning ocean conservation, and 3) foster analytical reasoning and solution-oriented approaches to marine issues.
