The Master of Science in Environmental Science provides three specialization tracks: Geospatial Sciences, Natural Resources, and Plant Sciences. Students can choose between thesis and non-thesis pathways. For the thesis option across all concentrations (Geospatial Sciences, Natural Resources, Plant Sciences), students must complete at least twenty-six (26) course credits plus a four-credit thesis. Degree candidates in all three specializations need to fulfill eighteen (18) core credits: AGSC 5060, AGSC 5110, AGSC 5120, AGSC 5500 or AGSC 5510, AGSC 5260, AGSC 5610, and AGSC 5620, along with twelve (12) concentration-specific credits. The non-thesis alternative mandates thirty-five (35) course credits, including eleven (11) core credits (AGSC 5060, AGSC 5110, AGSC 5350, AGSC 5610, AGSC 5620) and fifteen (15) concentration credits, all subject to approval by both the academic advisor and department chair.
