The Computer Science Department provides a Master of Science program in Computer Science. This M.S. program enables both recent graduates and professionals with work experience to advance their careers while engaging with the latest developments in computer science. Students can choose from three specialization tracks: (1) Data Science, (2) Cybersecurity and Networking, and (3) High-Performance Computing with Bioinformatics.
The Computer Science M.S. program includes both thesis and non-thesis pathways. To graduate, students must complete 33 credit hours consisting of 9 credits in core requirements, 12 credits in their chosen specialization, 6 elective credits, plus either 6 credits in design courses (non-thesis option) or 6 thesis credits (thesis option).
