To equip students with foundational knowledge and practical experience in Systems Engineering methodologies, covering the entire life cycle from defining system requirements to retirement. This includes systems analysis, preliminary and detailed design, testing, operation, and decommissioning, with a focus on computer networks and information systems. Additionally, students will gain hands-on experience in creating Systems Engineering Management Plans and conducting life cycle analyses.

For admission to the M.S. in CISE program, the student must have B. S. degree in Electrical Engineering, or other engineering disciplines or computer science from an accredited program.
