Bioinnovation involves discovering, bringing to market, and spreading innovative biological technologies, ideas, and frameworks. The Professional Science Master's (P.S.M.) in Bioinnovation aims to build a comprehensive skill set, enabling science, business, communication, legal, and policy professionals to enter rapidly expanding sectors like bioinformatics, environmental science, global health, biopharmaceuticals, tech transfer, and commerce. The curriculum provides: a robust foundation in biotechnology and biomedical sciences to push beyond conventional approaches, hands-on exploration of how biological breakthroughs transition from lab to market through coursework and engagement with industry experts—including researchers, legal professionals, and media specialists—and training in collaborative teamwork and clear communication. This P.S.M. program leverages expertise from Temple University's College of Science and Technology and Fox School of Business, guided by the Bioinnovation Steering Committee in partnership with advisory boards and the Graduate School.
