The Department of Statistical Science provides an M.S. program designed to give students comprehensive statistical expertise. Develop expertise in statistical theory and methodologies through Temple University's Fox School of Business Master of Science in Statistics program. Gain the skills to tackle real-world, intricate problems in modern scientific and social initiatives. Qualification Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Discipline/Related Discipline: A baccalaureate degree is required, although it need not be in a business discipline.

Statement of Goals: In 500 words or less, describe your goals and motivations for pursuing the master's degree in Statistics.

Standardized Test Scores:
GRE/GMAT: Required. Quantitative and verbal scores on the GRE should be in the 50th percentile or above. Scores under 500 on the GMAT are not considered for the M.S. program.

Applicants who earned their baccalaureate degree from an institution where the language of instruction was other than English, with the exception of those who subsequently earned a master's degree in a country where the language of instruction is English, must report scores for a standardized test of English that meet these minimums:

TOEFL iBT: 88
IELTS Academic: 6.5
The minimum admissions standard for all graduate students is ordinarily an undergraduate grade point average of B or 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, or the functional equivalent for students who have attended universities outside of the United States.
Any student admitted with a TOEFL score below 100 iBT must pass an English skills course during the first term of enrollment at Temple University.
