Examining human movement, both as a reflection of health and physical capability and as a way to comprehend the systems behind neuromotor integration and behavior, forms the basis of numerous healthcare disciplines. Success in these interconnected fields demands expertise spanning engineering, movement studies, neuroscience, and rehabilitation. There's a growing demand for highly skilled researchers with cross-disciplinary education in neurobiology and biomechanics of the sensorimotor system, particularly focusing on how movement is affected by medical conditions, disorders, impairments, and growth stages. Our Neuromotor Science (NMS) curriculum educates learners to progress research in neuromotor regulation and biomechanics concerning human balance and mobility across all ages and health statuses. The M.S. in Neuromotor Science (MS-NMS) degree caters to professionals in engineering, exercise physiology, kinesiology, occupational therapy, physical therapy, rehabilitation studies, and similar areas, equipping them to: enhance knowledge about neuromotor mechanisms, including analyzing human motion, neuromotor coordination, and their relationship with aging, wellness, ability, and impairment; and help create therapeutic approaches to enhance mobility, especially balance and movement coordination, throughout people's lives.
