The M.F.A. in Theater/Acting offers comprehensive actor training following the conservatory model. This program seeks experienced performers ready to dedicate three years to intensive study and stage work. Our graduate Acting curriculum has dual aims: helping working actors overcome creative limitations while establishing a training framework they can clearly communicate to students. Hone your theatrical and cinematic skills through Temple University's Master of Fine Arts in Acting program within the School of Theater, Film and Media Arts. Designed for stage professionals, this rigorous 60-credit program fosters artistic development. Those considering teaching careers will gain tools to explain creative techniques to students. The small-scale program delivers traditional conservatory-style training.
