The Bioelectrical Engineering concentration aims to equip students for careers in growing fields such as biomedical signal and image processing, assistive technologies for individuals with impairments, and bioelectronics. This program incorporates Biology courses along with Mammalian Anatomy and Physiology from Temple University's Department of Kinesiology into its curriculum. Students will be prepared for roles in the expanding sectors of assistive device technology, bioelectronics, and biomedical signal and image analysis. They will establish a solid educational base by studying anatomy, biology, control systems, digital signal processing, electromagnetics, and physiology. Temple University's College of Engineering offers a 128-credit hour Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, emphasizing control systems, electromagnetics, and electronics. Electrical engineers are responsible for creating and improving systems that enhance the productivity and efficiency of buildings, computers, factories, power grids, and telecommunications. Additionally, they develop electric motors, radar and navigation systems, robotics, and various other electronic devices.
