Computer Science curricula cater to students primarily interested in comprehensive computer science education rather than specialized application domains. The programs provide extensive training in fundamental computer science principles such as algorithm design, software development methodologies, computer hardware architecture, data organization, system software, networking, AI, and visual data analysis. Students acquire both theoretical knowledge and practical skills for building computing systems. The accelerated five-year BS/MS in Computer Science, offered through the College of Science and Technology, allows exceptional Computer Science students who have completed at least five semesters at Temple to pursue graduate studies through this integrated degree pathway.
