Master the basics of visual design while honing your creative and conceptual abilities. Build a professional portfolio through self-guided instruction using industry-standard tools.
Participants will craft innovative solutions with professional-grade design software. Alongside general education courses, the curriculum progresses through three phases: fundamental design principles, focused graphic design instruction, and specialized software/topic exploration. Software training occurs partially online through partnerships with industry leaders. This flexible approach enables students to revisit materials and cultivate the self-motivated learning habits essential in this evolving field. The model also emphasizes creative development, conceptual thinking, and teamwork during in-person sessions. Early academic planning is highly encouraged for this program.
