The Keyboard Instruction Department provides diverse study programs tailored to aspiring solo performers, ensemble players, accompanists, and educators, while also offering specialized keyboard tracks for students pursuing degrees in music education, therapy, history, theory, composition, and jazz. Students receive weekly one-on-one instruction complemented by frequent performance workshops, along with specialized masterclasses led by faculty and visiting artists that address key aspects of keyboard performance. The department prioritizes professional preparation in performance, collaborative piano, chamber music, teaching methodologies, and operatic coaching.
