This program prepares students for careers in music or further academic study in the field. Participants will cultivate musical skills and artistry, identify and interpret musical structures, and explore the rich diversity of global music traditions. The curriculum fosters critical thinking, creative expression, and collaborative abilities through specialized music courses. To graduate, students must finish mandatory coursework plus electives totaling at least 26 units. Program Outcomes: Graduates will demonstrate intermediate to advanced proficiency in music theory, analysis, and musicianship. They will acquire comprehensive knowledge of music history and achieve intermediate to advanced piano skills. Additionally, students will reach performance-level competency in their chosen musical specialization.
