The Bachelor of Music in Music Education/Jazz degree is awarded to students who successfully complete 158-161 credits (varies by concentration) and receive faculty approval. This program offers specialized concentrations in Instrumental (covering Bassoon, Brass, Cello, Clarinet, Classical Guitar, Double Bass, Euphonium, Flute, French Horn, Harp, Harpsichord, Historical Keyboard Instruments, Oboe, Percussion, Saxophone, String, Trombone, Trumpet, Tuba, Viola, Violin, and Woodwind), Piano with Band/Orchestra Focus, Piano with Choral/General Focus, and Voice. Temple University's Boyer College of Music and Dance offers this Bachelor of Music (BM) program to equip future educators with jazz-focused teaching skills while fostering musical passion.
