The seven-year Bachelor of Arts and Doctor of Medicine dual degree program, offered through the College of Science and Technology and Lewis Katz School of Medicine, is tailored for exceptional students. Applicants must submit their candidacy as Temple University Health Scholars via the Office of Pre-Professional Health Studies. Those admitted as Health Scholars gain eligibility for early admission consideration to the Lewis Katz School of Medicine through the BA/MD Accelerated Option. This accelerated 3+4 pathway is exclusive to Lewis Katz School of Medicine; students pursuing other medical schools must follow the traditional 4+4 academic route.

Your application must include all official and original academic records from any secondary school you have ever attended.
If you are attending a secondary school curriculum that is four years, Temple University reviews grades nine through 11 as well as your current progress in 12th grade (term/quarter/semester/predicted) or your final transcript if you completed secondary school.
If you are attending a secondary school curriculum that is only three years, we strongly recommend you submit the final year of your primary school as well.
