Physics explores the fundamental principles governing the natural world and its phenomena. This discipline encompasses diverse specialties, from subatomic particles to nuclear properties, atomic structures, macroscopic systems, and cosmic origins. The BA program caters to students pursuing non-research careers with scientific elements, such as patent law, environmental regulation, healthcare, or leadership roles in tech industries. Through the Plus 1 Accelerated Program, Physics undergraduates in the College of Science and Technology can earn both their bachelor's degree and, subsequently within one year, a Master's in Secondary Education. This graduate program fulfills Pennsylvania's requirements for Physics Teacher Certification (Grades 7-12).
