Designed for flexibility, this 123-credit interdisciplinary program offers a comprehensive liberal arts education with upper-level courses that match your objectives. Ideal for nontraditional students, it allows you to customize your studies, progress at your preferred pace, and broaden career opportunities. The Liberal Studies BA helps students readjust to academics while balancing full-time work. The curriculum enhances analytical, critical thinking, research, and writing abilities to advance your professional growth. Transfer credits for prior coursework and receive credit for relevant work experience—up to six credits may be earned through a Life Experience Portfolio for professional achievements, publications, or non-credit certifications. Courses are available in-person at Temple's Main, Ambler, and Center City campuses, with some online options. Select either the Humanities or Social Sciences track, then focus on a specific subject area within your chosen track. Three core liberal arts courses are required for all students.
