Geology explores Earth's composition and processes. Through fieldwork and lab analysis, geologists examine the physical, chemical, and biological mechanisms that have formed our planet throughout history and their ongoing impacts. Key geological concerns encompass climate change, natural disasters like earthquakes and floods, energy sources, and environmental conservation. The curriculum covers fundamental geological principles while allowing students to customize their studies through advanced coursework aligned with their career aspirations. This integrated five-year program combines a Bachelor of Arts in Geology with a Master of Education in Secondary Education, offering teacher certification through collaboration between the College of Science and Technology and the College of Education.
