The Master of Music (M.Mus.) performance program provides specializations in: keyboard, keyboard accompaniment, strings, voice, woodwinds, brass, or percussion.
All graduate candidates must fulfill core requirements including research, music history, and music theory courses (totaling nine credits). Typically, students complete 34-36 graduate credits post-baccalaureate, usually spanning four semesters. Each M.Mus. program follows comparable academic structures and admission processes: 8 major credits, 3 music history credits, 3 music theory credits, 3 research credits, 2 recital credits, with remaining credits allocated to emphasis-specific courses, music literature, electives, or open electives (varies by specialization).
