The print media and graphic arts program stands at the forefront of academic printmaking education. Our program thrives through diverse approaches including mixed media, public art installations, collaborative projects, and Lake Effect Editions – our professional in-house publishing initiative. These elements create a dynamic, comprehensive learning environment.

Our facilities boast cutting-edge digital tools for contemporary printmakers while still supporting traditional techniques. The state-of-the-art studios provide instruction in lithography, monotype/monoprint, etching, screenprinting, relief printing, papermaking, letterpress, book arts, and digital processes. Each year, we host a popular steamroller printing demonstration at the heart of Main Campus.

The program organizes annual trips to New York City for events like the International Fine Print Dealers Association Print Fair, along with regular participation in the Southern Graphics Council International Conference. Numerous alumni establish careers in New York after graduation, securing positions in the city's abundant print studios, workshops, arts organizations, galleries, and museums.
