The C.A.S. in Educational Leadership equips graduates to become skilled, cooperative, fair, and empathetic administrators for schools and districts.
Offered by the Department of Teaching and Leadership, this program provides dual New York State certification as both School Building Leader and School District Leader. Participants concentrate on promoting educational fairness while gaining comprehensive insights into their future responsibilities as modern educational leaders. Alumni often serve as superintendents, assistant superintendents, principals, department heads, and various other leadership roles within school systems.
While most students finish the program in 3-4 years of full-time enrollment, summer coursework can accelerate completion. Working professionals, including full-time teachers, can pursue part-time study options.
