The Bachelor of Science in Earth Sciences delivers a solid foundation in fundamental sciences and geology, with the flexibility to customize studies through elective courses to align with diverse interests across the Earth Sciences field.

The Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences provides both Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Arts programs. The Bachelor of Science path is particularly suited for students aiming for professional or academic careers in Earth Sciences.

Students can choose between two Bachelor of Science tracks: the general Earth Sciences degree or the specialized Environmental Science concentration. The standard Earth Sciences B.S. builds core scientific and geological knowledge while allowing elective selections to accommodate various Earth Science interests. The Environmental Science-focused B.S., developed in collaboration with the biology department, is ideal for students pursuing careers in environmental fields.
