The Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders combined with the Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology program enables students to earn their undergraduate degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders by their senior year. This bachelor's program offers comprehensive training in human communication sciences and disorders, including hands-on clinical practice at the Gebbie Speech-Language-Hearing Clinic. Students can also engage in research opportunities within faculty laboratories if desired.
The graduate portion commences the summer following bachelor's degree completion, spanning four consecutive semesters (summer, fall, spring, summer). Syracuse University's Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology holds accreditation from the Council on Academic Accreditation in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology (CAA) of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. MS graduates may additionally qualify for New York State certification as Teachers of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities.
