This combined degree program enables students to pursue the Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Civil Engineering sequentially, aiming to fulfill both degree requirements within five years. Up to 6 credits from 500-level or higher courses can be applied toward both undergraduate and graduate degrees. Transfer credits designated from SU's undergraduate record will appear on the graduate transcript and count toward degree requirements without affecting the graduate GPA.

Applicants must be current BS Civil Engineering students at Syracuse University and should submit their application during the first semester of their junior year. Admission decisions consider academic achievement. Students gain provisional acceptance to graduate studies after completing their third year but only attain full graduate status upon satisfying all bachelor's degree requirements.
