This program enables students to obtain an MA in International Relations with just one extra year of study after completing their undergraduate degree. Those who come to Syracuse with ample AP credits might finish both their bachelor's and MA IR within four years.
Applications for the MA IR component of this dual-degree program are typically submitted in the junior year spring semester, permitted once students have chosen their major and earned 75 bachelor's degree credits.
Prospective students should consult with the MA IR program's admissions director prior to applying. Required application materials usually include two faculty recommendation letters from Syracuse University, a resume, a Statement of Purpose, and academic transcripts. Syracuse University students are exempt from submitting GRE and TOEFL scores.
