This 5-year integrated program merges two established curricula - the undergraduate Mathematics or Applied Mathematics Bachelor's program with the graduate Applied Statistics Master's degree.
Prospective students should consult with an advisor from the Bachelor of Arts in Applied Mathematics program early in their Syracuse University enrollment. Timely degree completion demands strategic academic planning.
Admission requirements include: 1. Standard acceptance into the Bachelor of Arts in Applied Mathematics program and 2. Satisfactory completion of MAT 521 Introduction to Probability. Candidates must then submit an application to the Applied Statistics program director, with admission decisions primarily based on academic performance in the Applied Mathematics undergraduate coursework.
