The Bachelor of Science program equips students with expertise in data interpretation, statistical methods, computational techniques, and effective communication—essential competencies for deriving insights from information. Graduates with a statistics major gain versatile qualifications suited for diverse professions requiring quantitative abilities and logical analysis, or for advanced academic pursuits in Statistics or allied fields. The B.S. in Statistics curriculum adheres to standards set by the American Statistical Association. Specifically, the Mathematical Statistics track focuses on preparing students for graduate studies and advanced statistical training.
