Our program provides focused education in various meteorology specialties such as atmospheric physics, cloud dynamics, climate science, remote sensing technologies, weather instrumentation, computational modeling, computer applications, air quality studies, and weather broadcasting.
Take part in our innovative Storm Chasers summer initiative, forecasting and tracking severe weather across the Great Plains region. Become a member of our American Meteorological Society student group and engage with industry professionals at AMS conferences. Gain practical broadcasting skills at WTOP, our university television station, preparing for a career as an on-air meteorologist.
