The Curriculum and Instruction Department provides degree programs culminating in a Bachelor of Science and qualification for New York State initial teaching certification across multiple grade levels and subject areas. These include Childhood Education (grades 1-6) in disciplines like The Arts, Languages, Mathematics, Sciences, Social Studies, and Women's Studies; Adolescence Education (grades 7-12) in subjects such as Sciences, Languages, Mathematics, and Social Studies; and TESOL (K-12). All programs combine pedagogical training with content-specific coursework.
