Political science majors focusing on public policy and law can fulfill all core and major requirements within their first three years. After gaining admission, they start their first year at Suffolk University Law School in year four. Suffolk undergraduates aiming for a legal career can apply for the competitive 3+3 Bachelor's/JD Program, designed for exceptional students committed to obtaining a Juris Doctor degree.
A limited number of high-achieving Suffolk undergraduates may qualify for early admission to Suffolk Law School after their junior year. This accelerated path allows students to complete both their bachelor's and JD degrees in six years rather than the standard seven.
