The Master of Science in Human Resource Management comprises 10 courses, each worth three credits, as detailed below. The curriculum has been revised to meet the guidelines set by the Society for Human Resource Management. Updated in Fall 2015, continuing students can opt for this new program or combine courses from both the updated and previous HRM curricula. While optional, students may pursue hands-on experience through a one-credit internship practicum, which is additional to the degree requirements. The internship (HRM 585) demands at least 45 hours of work in a setting unrelated to the student's current job. Enrollment in this pass/fail course requires faculty director approval. Upon completion, students must submit an Internship Project Requirement (Work Report) for evaluation by their supervising faculty advisor.
