This specialized MS program is designed within the framework of the existing MS in Statistics, incorporating emerging developments in data science and analytics. Graduates of the Data Science MS program will be equipped to pursue doctoral studies or enter the workforce as data science professionals. Note that earning the MS degree does not guarantee admission to the Statistics PhD program. The Data Science curriculum cultivates robust mathematical, statistical, computational, and programming competencies while delivering core data science training through both required courses and targeted electives from data science and related disciplines.
