The Master of Arts in Policy, Organization, and Leadership Studies (POLS) combines interdisciplinary knowledge, distinguished faculty mentorship, and real-world applications to prepare students for leadership roles in education. With support from academic advisors, participants tailor their coursework to align with professional aspirations. POLS students can select classes across Stanford's diverse departments - spanning business, design, economics, arts, law, psychology, public policy, and more - while maintaining an education-focused core. This intensive nine-month, residential program maintains rigorous admissions standards. Education represents a collaborative effort, requiring engagement from government, private sector, schools, and communities to sustain its impact. POLS empowers individuals with theoretical frameworks, practical skills, and leadership competencies to drive meaningful educational transformation.
Applicants from colleges and universities of recognized standing who hold a U.S. bachelor's degree or its equivalent are eligible to be considered for admission for graduate study. English Proficiency: TOEFL - Your minimum score must be 100 (internet based) OR 600 (paper based).
