This intensive one-year master's program spans three semesters (Fall, Spring, and Summer). From the very first day, students engage in a comprehensive, hands-on internship at their home school throughout the entire academic year.
Graduates who fulfill all School Building Leader master's program requirements gain automatic admission to the School District Leader Advanced Certification program, which they can start during the summer term immediately after graduation.
Admission Requirements
Possess at least two (2) years of full-time, paid teaching or counseling experience,
Currently work as a full-time teacher or counselor in an elementary or secondary school,
Secure a recommendation from your current principal,
Show proficiency in both written and verbal communication,
Submit GRE or MAT test scores from within the past five years. (This requirement is waived for applicants who already hold a master's degree in education or a related discipline.)
