The Science, Technology, and Society (STS) Program offers students an interdisciplinary approach to explore the dynamic relationships between scientific advancements, technological innovations, and social structures. This academic focus examines diverse areas including genetic research, biotechnological developments, ethical considerations in medicine and biology, health-related ethical dilemmas, psychological and physiological disorders, community health initiatives, patient advocacy, sociopolitical aspects of human biology, and numerous other fields where emerging technologies both shape and are shaped by cultural contexts.
