The Chemistry undergraduate program aims to deliver core molecular science concepts through a combination of academic instruction and hands-on lab work. With a rich history of promoting undergraduate research participation, the Chemistry program offers year-round opportunities including an intensive summer research initiative. A high school diploma or the equivalent is required in order to enroll at Stanford. Generally, we receive English proficiency exam results (TOEFL, IELTS, Duolingo English Test, etc.) from applicants whose native language is not English and/or the primary language of instruction at their secondary school is not English.
