Explore the economic dimensions of today's society, examine current economic challenges, and cultivate skills for assessing public policy decisions. The Economics undergraduate program aims to expose students to modern economic systems, equip them with analytical methods for tackling present-day economic issues, and foster critical thinking for policy evaluation. Students gain foundational knowledge in macro- and microeconomic principles, learn to articulate economic concepts clearly, and master fundamental economic analysis techniques. This major offers strong preparation for careers in both public and private sectors, as well as for advanced studies in professional schools or economics. The program requires students to achieve specific competencies, which serve as benchmarks for assessing both individual progress and the overall effectiveness of the curriculum.
