Students will receive clinical instruction at local hospitals and imaging facilities. After successfully finishing the Radiography Technology Program, graduates are eligible to take the national certification exam administered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. Passing this examination permits graduates to use the designation R.T.(R) ARRT after their names. Graduates of the Radiography Technology program must obtain a state license from the Texas Medical Board to practice professionally in Texas.
