The clinical laboratory sciences program is an accredited bachelor's degree program that prepares students for national certification through the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) and New York State licensure.
Medical Laboratory Scientists (MLS), sometimes called Clinical Laboratory Technologists, are certified healthcare professionals who play a crucial role in disease detection, diagnosis, and treatment. This bachelor's program combines comprehensive theoretical learning with hands-on clinical training at partner hospitals and reference labs.
Housed within the College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, our Clinical Laboratory Sciences program focuses on student-centered learning that fosters academic achievement, personal growth, and career readiness.
