This combined degree program from St. John's College of Liberal Arts and Sciences allows you to earn both a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Psychology and a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Criminology and Justice within five years of full-time study.
During the initial four years, you'll fulfill all requirements for the Psychology undergraduate degree, gaining knowledge about psychological, social, and biological factors influencing both typical and atypical behaviors. The curriculum emphasizes critical thinking and the application of theoretical knowledge to behavioral research. Starting in your third year, you'll enroll in graduate-level Criminology and Justice courses that examine conventional street crimes alongside contemporary criminal activities such as terrorism, cybercrime, global drug trafficking, transnational white-collar crime, and international organized crime networks. The program provides instruction in both classical criminological theories and cutting-edge research approaches.
