The primary objective of the Associate degree in Information Technology at Collins College of Professional Studies is to equip students for either immediate employment or advancement into a 4-year Bachelor of Science program in Information Technology, or another relevant undergraduate degree at St. John's University.
This program will enable students to:

Understand the operations and procedures of computer systems, networking technologies, and application software.

Explain the theoretical frameworks of information technology and their practical implementations.
Acquire comprehensive knowledge of fundamental concepts in computer science, communication technologies, and software applications.
