The Department of Government and Politics provides students with the chance to earn a Certificate in International Law and Diplomacy. This credential can be pursued on its own or alongside the master's program. Graduates who have finished their M.A. in the department may further their education by working toward the Certificate. Qualification Requirements

For admission to graduate studies in the department, students are expected to have an undergraduate preparation of at least 18 credits in government and politics/political science or equivalent and a 3.0 GPA. Any deficiency in preparation may require supplementary course work for admission in the form of suitable graduate courses, as determined by the department.
Evidence of baccalaureate degree from accredited college or university, including official transcripts from each institution attended.
Transcripts from international universities need to be accompanied by an evaluation from a NACES accredited evaluation source.
