The Master of Science in Accountancy (MSA) offers an advanced curriculum tailored to equip students for accounting careers across public practice, corporate settings, and nonprofit or government organizations. This program develops the essential competencies and expertise required to launch an accounting career while establishing a strong base for professional growth to senior leadership positions.

Graduates of the MSA program will gain the specialized knowledge necessary to pursue professional certifications, including the Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Management Accountant (CMA), or Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) examinations.

Eligibility for GRE/GMAT waivers are listed below. The decision to grant a GRE/GMAT waiver rests with the Graduate Program Director and is not guaranteed by meeting one or more below criteria.
Applicants should have a cumulative GPA of 2.75 (4.0 scale) in undergraduate coursework.
Applicants should have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 (4.0 scale), in any graduate coursework that is complete.
Upon review of application materials, a GMAT/GRE waiver may be available, but is not guaranteed, to applicants with an undergraduate/graduate degree cumulative GPA of 3.0 (4.0 scale).
Current resume demonstrating post-bachelor's degree professional work experience.
All applicants for admission to the MSA program who are not granted a waiver must complete the GMAT or the GRE. GMAT scores must meet a minimum of 500 total and 25 on both the verbal and quantitative portions. GRE scores will be converted to comparable GMAT scores using the GRE Comparison Tool for Business Schools, and converted scores must meet the GMAT minimum score standards.
