Successful completion of research work and meeting the course and credit hour criteria leads to the conferral of a Master of Arts degree. The research component carries three semester credits under ECON 598.
Our Economics graduate program presents three distinct tracks: Master of Arts, Master of Science, and an Accelerated pathway. It equips learners with critical competencies for leadership roles in both public and private sectors that involve quantitative economic analysis. This economics graduate degree readies students for careers in government agencies, corporate environments, and community college instruction.
Participants will acquire advanced data analysis capabilities and hands-on research practice using actual datasets. The Economics Computer Lab enables students to conduct cutting-edge research utilizing industry-standard software such as Stata, EViews, Matlab, R, and Python.
