The Sculpture program's strength comes from its cross-disciplinary approach, allowing students to explore and thrive through either non-material-focused or discipline-specific methods in sculptural creation. We provide both BFA and MFA degrees with diverse skill sets covering essential topics in object creation and conceptual development, including metal and wood fabrication, ferrous and non-ferrous casting, cold casting, and mixed media.
Our curriculum blends time-honored and modern perspectives in design, craftsmanship, and technology. You'll engage in a vibrant, diverse workspace using traditional tools and materials while exploring various techniques and styles through a multidisciplinary lens, including spatial, installation, intermedia, and transmedia art. Students enjoy access to personal studio spaces and round-the-clock use of top-tier equipment and facilities.
The program's multimedia components add another layer of professional expertise. Graduates emerge with clear objectives to pursue diverse opportunities in innovative and creative fields.
